Quality, demanded by our customers, Sustainability, demanded by ourselves

Achieving a high level of quality requires experience, but above all, dedication. Over the years, we have refined our techniques and corrected our shortcomings, continuously improving. Our clients have played a fundamental role in this journey. Their strict requirements and valuable insights have challenged us to enhance our processes, enabling us to achieve an exceptional level of detail in all our furniture.

Indonesia, like many tropical countries, is blessed with abundant natural resources. Its fertile soil fosters rapid tree and plant growth, yet its climate can also be extreme. Heavy monsoon rains often cause severe damage in areas where logging has not been properly managed, directly impacting local communities through floods and landslides. These consequences are deeply concerning to us. How can we help prevent them?  By sourcing our wood responsibly and collaborating with both local and global NGOs to support sustainable forestry practices.

This is the way we work

Wood Selection Wood is undoubtedly the cornerstone of our business, and with it comes a great responsibility in selecting our timber sources. Therefore, we have a big responsibility when selecting our timber source. On one hand, the Recycled Teak Wood we use carries a rich history, often dating back more than a century. Sourced primarily from demolished buildings, this teak is given a second life through a meticulous recycling process that restores its original hidden beauty. On the other hand, we source New Teak and other types of fresh wood exclusively from government-controlled plantations. These certified wood sources adhere to strict environmental sustainability standards, ensuring responsible land management and conservation efforts.
The Wood Drying process is essential to achieving the optimum moisture content. Recycled teak wood has already undergone a long natural drying period, making it highly stable. In contrast, New wood is fumigated and immediately placed in our in-house drying kiln upon arrival at the factory. This precise drying method minimizes the risk of future cracks and structural deformation in the furniture.
Once the timber is ready, we begin the Production process, carefully selecting the most suitable pieces for each part of the furniture. Every piece is precisely machined to ensure a perfect fit, using joinery techniques such as finger joints and tenon-mortise, among others. We are committed to using the highest-quality adhesives and fittings to achieve optimal durability. This meticulous approach guarantees the longevity and strength of our furniture.
A delicate and thorough Sanding & Finishing is key to giving our furniture its distinctive character and a smooth, pleasant touch. We offer various finish textures, from smooth to rustic, always enhancing the natural beauty of the wood grain. All our iron and metal components are coated using an efficient in-house powder coating process, ensuring superior protection against rust and scratches while maintaining a flawless finish.
Our furniture often travels long distances before reaching the final customer. That is why a carefully designed packaging process is essential to minimize the risk of damage during transit. All our products are securely packed in thick carton boxes, with special reinforcements at the corners and edges to ensure maximum protection.

Every step in our process demands the full dedication of our craftsmen and entire team – our most valuable asset. We take great pride in their skill and commitment, as their continuous efforts allow us to deliver high-quality, consistent furniture.

The satisfaction of a happy customer is our greatest reward. And knowing that we have honored nature throughout the entire production process makes our work truly fulfilling.

We collaborate with the global NGO One Tree Planted and local NGO Trees4Trees, to plant one tree for every trunk used in our production.

Disclaimer: Solid wood is a natural material, and small cracks may appear in its grain over time. This phenomenon, known as wood checking, occurs due to temperature and humidity fluctuations, which directly impact the wood’s moisture content (causing it to expand and contract).
Wood checking is a normal occurrence, especially in thicker components, and does not affect the usability or functionality of your furniture. These checks appear as surface openings that run parallel to the wood grain.
Our furniture is carefully designed and constructed to accommodate natural wood movement, though small cracks may still occasionally occur.

“The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago. The second best time is now.”
